Sermorelin, also known as GRF 1-29 Amide or Sermorelin Acetate, is a growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH). It is a 29 amino acid peptide which represent the 1-29 segment from naturally occurring human GHRH (1-44). It is considered by some to be the shortest, yet fully functional, fragment of GHRH. GHRH is 44 amino-acids polypeptide that stimulates the secretion of growth hormone from the adenohypophysis. It is also called somatocrinin or somatoliberin. Compared to the 29 amino acids contained in Sermorelin, Growth Hormone contains 191 amino acids. Sermorelin is considered to be a growth hormone secretagogue.
GHPeptides™ Sermorelin has a peptide purity level that exceeds 99.0% as determined by HPLC. This peptide was synthesized with no additives and is supplied as a white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Sermorelin in sterile water, which can then be further diluted in other aqueous solutions. Lyophilized Sermorelin although stable at room temperature for 3-4 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution, Sermorelin should be stored at 4°C out of direct light for between 10-14 days and for future use below -18°C. Prevent repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
