Both GHRP-2 and CJC-1295 have been tested in a variety of animal models and have shown positive effects on muscle hypertrophy and hyperplasia, cardiac function, and the immune system–. Both peptides also decrease blood sugar levels and favor lean body mass over fat deposition.
The peptide CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin is in the evening by subcutaneous injection because that is the typical time the body natural secretes growth hormone. Typical dosing is 300 mcg per day although studies have shown that increasing the dose to 500 mcg of Ipamorelin with 250 mcg of CJC 1295 can optimize results.
Levels of hGH increased significantly during the GHRP-2 infusion, reaching a plateau of 36.4±7.0 μg/L 60 minutes after the beginning of the infusion. GH levels were significantly more elevated during the infusion of GHRP-2 (AUC 5550±1090 μg/L/240 min vs. 412±161μg/L/240 min, p=0.003) (Figure 2).
Also known as Pralmorelin, GHRP-2 is a ghrelin agonist that has been used to counteract the effects of malnutrition. GHRP-2 is also administered to enhance endurance, improve bone density, boost the immune system and promote faster healing of wounds.
